- Inspect anything other than furniture.
- Run accredited laboratory tests. We verify the reports labs produce and can tell you which tests your market needs.
- Issue certification schemes such as ECAS, SABER or fire testing.
- Change the fee with the result. It is fixed at booking, pass or fail.
- Inspect a factory we have a relationship with. Conflicts are declared and the work is refused, under the Charter.

No. The fee is fixed at booking and is the same whether the shipment passes or fails. That rule, and the others that keep the report independent, are set out in the Independence Charter.
