Why 20–50% completion is the window
A during-production inspection is timed, not routine. Too early and there is nothing built to measure; too late and the whole run already carries the fault you came to catch. The 20–50% mark is the point where the first components are drying, the first pieces are assembled and the finish line has sprayed enough to show its hand — while there is still raw batch left to correct. Every DUPRO finding is one with somewhere to go.
Three of those findings only exist at this stage. Core moisture, read on components and panels before glue and assembly seal it inside: a shortened kiln cycle feels dry on the surface and stays wet in the core, and by pre-shipment it is already built into a table that will crack in a heated home. First-off dimensions, measured against your spec before the batch repeats an error four hundred more times. And finish, checked against your golden sample before the next two hundred pieces are sprayed the wrong shade. A pre-shipment inspection can only report these; a during-production inspection can still change them.

How a during-production inspection runs
Booking takes a service, a cluster, a date and your product spec; we confirm within two hours and agree the checklist, AQL and golden-sample references before the visit. On site, the inspector checks early finished pieces against your AQL plan and golden sample, takes multiple pin-meter moisture readings at the core of components rather than the surface, and measures first-offs against your drawing. Within 24 hours you receive a photographed report: every finding measured, referenced to the standard or your spec and given a severity class, ending in a plain recommendation — carry on, correct now, or hold the run.
